This is a notice regarding the closure of Naoshima facilities and museums in January.
As listed below, Naoshima’s facilities and museums will be closed, so please be sure to check in advance.
■ Partially closed
From Thursday, January 4, 2024 to Thursday, February 1, 2024
Benesse House Park, the beach, and surrounding facilities (including Hiroshi Sugimoto Gallery Time Corridor, terrace restaurant, shops, SPA, and some outdoor art areas) will be closed for maintenance. During the same period, Chichu Art Museum, Lee Ufan Museum, and Ishibashi House Project will also be closed for maintenance.
■ The entire building is closed.
From Monday, January 15, 2024 to Friday, January 19, 2024
All art facilities on Naoshima, including restaurants, will be closed for regular maintenance.
If you are considering a trip, please be sure to check the opening calendar before coming to the island.

In addition, due to this, Atsuougi and rental bicycles will be closed on the following dates.

From Monday, January 15, 2024 to Friday, January 19, 2024
During the above period, we will not be able to respond by phone or email.
We will resume business from Saturday, January 20, 2024.
